Texas Mother Brutally Shot to Death in Front of Her 2 Children

Back in 2022, 29-year-old Lydia Mendoza suffered an incredibly brutal death in front of her two young children.

MEETING AN ACQUAINTANCE FOR MONEY

One of Mendoza's cousins had planned to receive a large sum of cash sent by her cousin's ex-husband. According to police, the cousin asked Mendoza to “accompany her when meeting an acquaintance of her ex-husband to pick up a large sum of money.”

WAS IT A SETUP?

However, when Mendoza and her cousin went to the meeting spot things quickly took an incredibly tragic turn. “When they arrived at the meeting point near the 3400 Block of Morrow Avenue a vehicle drove up and parked next to Mendoza’s vehicle,” police said. 

CHILDREN TRAGICALLY INSIDE THE CAR

“Lopez then approached Mendoza’s car, opened the door, and began firing rounds into the front seat, while her two young children in the back seat watched Lopez brutally murder their mother.”

JUSTICE IS BEING SERVED

Sadly, Mendoza was killed but her cousin, although seriously injured, she was able to pull through. This week news of an arrest has finally come in. Oscar Thomas Lopez has been arrested and charged with murder and aggravated assault, for the brutal murder of Lydia Mendoza.

A Houston woman is being charged with manslaughter after administering silicone butt injects to a 38-year-old woman. 

47-year-old Lisa Fernandez held no proper license for the shady work she was doing. A 38-year-old woman from St. Louis had received multiple silicone butt injections from Fernandez. According to prosecutors, the woman had returned home but soon died from a silicone pulmonary embolism.
