2016 Season of ‘Dancing in the City’ Spotlights Live Music, Free Dance Lessons in Downtown El Paso

Downtown El Paso is about to get bumpin' with the return of Dancing in the City.

The free music series takes place at the Convention Center Plaza every Saturday evening beginning June 4 through July 23, with the exception of the Downtown Street Festival weekend June 17-18.

Unlike other free music series around town, this outdoor concert series includes a live dance lesson taught by professional dancers one hour prior to the live music performance.

After the tutorial, feel free to salsa, tango, cumbia, two-step, or boogie your heart out until 10 p.m.
