The YWCA El Paso del Norte Region will host its first ‘No Fixed Address’ event to raise awareness of the hidden homelessness of women and children in El Paso on Nov. 13-14, 2015.
The International Men’s March focuses its efforts on preventing sexual assault, rape, and gender violence in the El Paso community. Participating males wear and walk a mile in women’s shoes, usually high heels, as a show of support for all women and raise awareness of domestic and sexual abuse.
Red pumps are no stranger to Downtown's Union Square, but yesterday evening, boys and men of all ages wore them for the "Walk A Mile In Her Shoes" march hosted by the YWCA.
The best part of my job here at KISS FM is being able to give back to the community, and tonight, I get to do that when I host 'Walk A Mile In Her Shoes'.
