Have you recently eaten out in the Las Cruces area? You may want to make sure the reason you're sick lately isn't from a recent warning of Listeria contamination, according to a new report.

If you have recently eaten at Dion's, the restaurant is saying it's consumers that they were warned of a Listeria contamination in some meats they used that were delivered to them. KRQE reports the USDA had some initial concerns about deli meats that were sent out to restaurants all over the state from a company based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The company is called Peter DeFries Corporation and the concern is with the deli meats. Sliced roast beef, pastrami and turkey used on their pizzas, subs and salads which were sold at the DIon's location in Las Cruces from mid December up until January 4th. As of now all leftovers have been thrown out by the USDA but the warning is in place in the case of any illnesses needing to be reported.
