GREAT MOMENTS IN BROADCASTING: A woman on the street in Baltimore walked up to a reporter while he was doing a live report on Hurricane Irene, and when he asked what she was doing she replied, quote, "I'm getting drunk tonight!"

When she first walked up, the reporter yanked the cord out of his microphone, presumably because he thought she might try to grab it, but after she just stood there, he engaged her in a conversation he would soon regret.
