The most festive house in all of El Paso is getting some state-wide recognition.

Texas Monthly is singing the praise of Fred Loya’s annual El Paso Christmas Light Show in the pages of its current edition. In an article titled “Where to Celebrate the Holidays across Texas” the magazine had this to say about the Loya’s annual gift to El Paso:

Perhaps the most extravagant light show in Texas is located far west: the El Paso Christmas Light Show is a synchronized music and light show with complimentary hot chocolate and cookies after every show.

The light show is so over the top; it won the top prize of $50,000 on the season 2 premiere of the ABC show "The Great Christmas Light Fight" in 2015.

This year’s show is as spectacular as in years past. The 2018 El Paso Christmas Lights presentation features over 400,000 lights, and an all-new megamix that includes yuletide music from the Trans Siberian Orchestra and Mariah Carey, and a nod to El Paso’s Music Ambassador, Khalid.

It's more than just a light show; it’s a fun, family-friendly event with nightly picture-taking opportunities with Santa and his elves. It’s so festive, not even the Grinch can resist showing up every weekend.
