White Sands National Monument Full Moon Concerts Coming Up
Now with summer in full swing, full moon nights at White Sands National Monument are almost here!
Full Moon Night 1: July 20th
Not only can you catch the beautiful full moon hit the white sands of the dunes, Rudy Wood and Tularosa Basin Musicians Union will play at 8:30 p.m. performing original acoustic numbers and bringing Texas style country music to the Land of Enchantment. Programs are held in monuments amphitheater and are free. Monument entrance fees apply the same at $5 per person 16 years and older.
Full Moon Night Night 2: August 18th
The 1st Armored Division “Old Ironsides” Band Shock Wave plays at 8 p.m. at the White Sands National Monument. Shock Wave is the 1st Armored Division Band’s highly versatile and energetic pop/rock band. The group comes with a wide repertoire of music ranging from R&B, Hip Hop, Old School Rap, Classic/Alternative Rock, and Country. Again, programs are held in monuments amphitheater and are free. Monument entrance fees apply at the same $5 per person 16 years and older.
