Early Tuesday morning, the world will be watching the tiny town of Van Horn, Texas. With just over 2,000 residents, having national media attention isn’t an everyday occurrence. But with Jeff Bezos moving his Blue Origin Launch site to the area, the attention is something they might want to get used to.

Tuesday morning, the billionaire along with his brother Mark, 82-year-old Wally Funk, and 18-year-old Oliver Daemen will all be launched into space at 7 a.m. local time.

For the launch in New Mexico last week, there were plenty of tourists who came to the area to see Richard Branson and crew head up into space. This time, El Paso is a couple of hours from Van Horn but being the biggest city nearby, we have heard of some people coming to El Paso to stay in the days before the launch. There were even reports of Bezos heading to Lucchese boots to get custom cowboy boots to commemorate the epic flight.

The group spent the weekend going through astronaut training and will finish up today, per ABC7 News, so they might have some time to kill before they get launched all the way into space. So what are some must-see things or do for someone in town for a quick trip, before or after the launch? We have some ideas of what they need to see, do, or eat in El Paso.

L&J Cafe- Every celebrity who comes through town stops to try the food here so it's a must-see for anyone in El Paso. Who knows, maybe you'll run into a celebrity who stopped there at the same time!

Lucchese Boots- If it was a good enough stop for Jeff Bezos, it's good enough for you. See how their iconic boots are made and grab a pair of your own!

Jefferson High School- Richard Ramirez is huge right now thanks to the Netflix documentary about him and the Cecil Hotel so show some out-of-towners where the deranged serial killer went to class. You can also throw in how he asked Joanna's mom on a date. That's always a great, fun fact. Not so much fun for Joanna.

El Paso High- Lady on the Hill is a great sight for an out-of-towner to see. You wouldn't expect another high school to make our list but the football stadium always makes lists for the most scenic field in the country. Plus, pick out some of the windows where people have seen ghosts. Maybe go check it out at night to up the scary factor.
