What El Paso Spot Had a Perfect Location That’s Gone & You Miss?
Some of us wish some businesses still existed that have been replaced with something else throughout the years. I remember a particular business that was once the perfect spot for you to grab a cup of hot cocoa after a UTEP football game many years ago.
The coffee shop I am referring to was on N. Mesa St. that was in a really convenient spot and had the stools that spun. It was where you would walk to buy some donuts for the tailgate before the UTEP Miners football game at Sun Bowl Stadium.
It was a spot I loved grabbing a cup of hot cocoa from before my family and I would meet up with my uncles to tailgate before the game. I am not sure if you may remember but I sure do miss the old spot that was once called Dunkin' Donuts.
It was located at 2701 N. Mesa St. then, but now is The Shops at Glory Road. Now there are a few places to grab a bite to eat, get a haircut, and also a specialty pharmacy.
That location had closed many years ago as well as the Crossroads one.
But that spot was perfect for a coffee and donut shop to be at that was really convenient for El Paso folks. Sure, there are the other Westside Dunkin' locations but the one by the Sun Bowl was perfect.
Just another example of a spot known for delicious smoothies for people wanting a tasty breakfast on the go lost a convenient spot on the Westside. The Blend was once located at 5700 N. Mesa St. which was close to Planet Fitness across from Morehead Middle School.
