Way out West Fest Coming in September

Way Out West is a new festival that will feature a chili cook-off, margarita shake-off and plenty of music at Southwest University Park on Saturday, September 17, 2016.

Celebrating everything that is Texas, the Way Out West Fest will be serving up some of the best chili as cooks battle it out for the top spot followed by ice cold beers as well as the Way Out West Margarita Shake-Off. Attendees are invited to sample and vote for their favorite frosty margaritas as well as chance to purchase more.

The event will offer plenty of dancing including a one-of-a-kind, outdoor dance floor with live music and two-stepping, including a performance by one of country music’s top recording artists which will be announced in the next few weeks.

Tickets will officially go on sale in June and will be available through the Southwest University Park Box Office, southwestuniversitypark.com or at epwayoutwest.com.
