Both UTEP and NMSU will come together September 17 – 21, for the annual I-10 Coalition Blood Drive leading into the Battle of I-10 blood drive.

As both universities prepare for the Battle of I-10 both schools will take part in the annual I-10 Coalition Blood Drive. Beginning on September 17-21st students, faculty and staff from both the University of Texas at El Paso and New Mexico State University will come together to donate blood for the annual I-10 Coalition Blood Drive.

Folks who are looking to help support the cause can donate blood in El Paso anytime between 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the United Blood Services Bloodmobiles that will be on site on Hawthorne Street as well as the UTEP library, and the outside the Union Plaza Building East off University Avenue and the Undergraduate Learning Center on Wiggins Way.
According to United Blood Services last year the combined blood drive efforts from both universities brought just over 1,200 units of blood and this year both UTEP is aiming at collecting at least 415 units of blood for their half.
