Some of this past years biggest movies, including Star Wars: Rogue One, and the Oscar-nominated romantic musical comedy-drama La La Land, will be shown for a couple of bucks this spring at UTEP's Union Cinema.

Five Hollywood blockbusters make up the spring 2017 lineup collectively known as Friday Night Flick, formally the Get Reel Film Series.

The movies are scheduled on various Fridays from February 3 to April 21, as indicated below. They all start promptly at 6 p.m. (doors open at 5:30 p.m.) in the Union Cinema, located on the first floor of UTEP’s Union Building East. General admission tickets are $3, $2 if you're a student, faculty, staff, or alumni member (with valid Miner Gold Card).

But you don’t have to be a UTEP student to attend; all screenings are open to the public, and your kiddos are more than welcome -- provided the movie is age appropriate.

Parking at the UTEP Sun Bowl Parking Garage or S-1 parking lot is free. If you need more info, visit the Office of Student Life on Facebook.
