El Paso is officially in its concert era! After months of buzz, announcements, and the internet literally losing its mind, BTS is almost set to take over the Sun Bowl. From record-breaking demand to fans traveling across the country (and yes, even across borders), this isn’t just another show, it’s the moment.

Since the announcement of BTS coming to El Paso, I’ve been tracking every update, every BTS fan app, every detail from UTEP Special Events and now it’s time to wrap up all that information to prepare BTS fans for the busy BTS weekend ahead!

Whether you’ve been counting down since day one or just secured your ticket in the chaos, this is the weekend El Paso has been waiting for and there are a few things you need to know to actually enjoy the experience (and not end up sunburned, lost, or stuck in traffic forever). Here’s your ultimate “don’t panic, you got this” guide for the BTS shows at UTEP

THE BASICS

  • Show Dates: May 2 & May 3
  • Doors Open: 5:30 PM
  • Show Time: 8:00 PM

If you’re trying to be early, security lines start forming:

  • South Gates: 3:00 PM
  • Main North Gate: 3:30 PM

Pro tip: North Gate = bigger space = faster entry. Choose wisely.

WHAT TO BRING (because El Paso sun does NOT play)

Let’s be real…this is a marathon, not a sprint.

Pack like a pro:

  • Water (stay hydrate)
  • Sunscreen
  • Hat / sunglasses
  • Portable charger (your phone WILL be working overtime)
  • Comfy shoes (you will be walking or dancing …a lot)

And yes…use the buddy system.
Pick a meet-up spot BEFORE things get chaotic. Phones die, crowds get wild—don’t risk it.

BTS Fans can checkout this fan made website to help you see who is sitting next to you at the show.
