Texas Man Uses Baby to Clear Snow in Viral Video—Now He’s Facing Charges!
This Texas Dad Took Snow Removal to the Next Level—But CPS Isn’t Laughing
When winter storms hit Texas most people grab a shovel, a snow brush or even a broom to get rid of snow on their cars. But one Port Arthur, Texas man decided to have some fun when he needed to get rid of snow from his windshield? He allegedly grabbed…a baby.
Doing anything and everything for the “clicks”
A viral TikTok video shows a 25-year-old man using a three-month-old baby to wipe snow off his Hyundai Elantra. Yes, really. The video, filmed at the O.W. Collins Elderly Apartments, has shocked viewers and caught the attention of both Port Arthur Police and Child Protective Services (CPS).
“We believe this constitutes child endangerment,” said Police Chief Tim Duriso, adding that an arrest warrant is expected to be issued next week.
While the baby appeared unharmed during the bizarre snow-clearing session, officials still were not amused.
“This isn’t about going viral. It’s about keeping kids safe.”
Police were tipped off about the video, questioned the man, and checked on the baby, who was reportedly fine.
I remember seeing the original video on Instagram and while I didn’t think it was the most hilarious thing in the world, I also didn’t think it was the most dangerous thing in the world, either.
I tried searching for the video, but it seems as if it’s since been deleted, but that isn’t stopping other people from following the trend.
THE FOLLOWING VIDEO ISN’T THE ONE IN QUESTION, BUT IT’S AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT THE ORIGINAL VIDEO FEATURED:
Authorities suspect one of two women seen in the video may be the child’s mother. For now, the baby remains with the parents as CPS continues its investigation.
Social media stunts for clicks might be trending, but officials are making it clear:
“A baby is not a snow scraper.”
The man’s name hasn’t been released yet, but he’s expected to face child endangerment charges.
Let this serve as a reminder—babies belong in warm blankets, not windshield wipers. And if you needed that reminder... I am in fact judging you! shame on you!!
