Troy Aikman Made Time to Stop By Fort Bliss on His EP Trip
It wasn't all beers and bars for the three time Super Bowl champ.
On Monday, the former Dallas Cowboys quarterback was in the Sun City promoting his new line of beer- Eight (get it? Because it was his jersey number?).
And it looks like it was a hella good time for Aikman, and for all who went out to get a glimpse, and taste of beer, of Aikman!
Aikman stopped at three local bars, Bikini Joes, Union Drafthouse and Headquarters Taphouse. Before that, though, Aikman stopped by El Paso's favorite market, Vista Central Market, and caught up with some fans there as well.
It looked like a fun time- even though it was a bit of a time crunch! Fans were happy to snap some selfies and get stuff autographed, and that beer actually looks good! Also, I want to know if that woman who got his autograph on her arm got it tattooed? I need an update!
Before leaving the 915, however, Aikman made sure to stop by Fort Bliss to hang out with our brave men and women soldiers, and of all the stops he made in El Paso that day, this one was the one that made it to his Instagram!
Such an honor to spend the day with our brave men and women soldiers at Fort Bliss, the United States Army post in El Paso, Texas.
God Bless and Go USA!
Wrote the former quarterback- check out the pictures below!
Of course, many in the comment section were happy to see him supporting our troops and even some celebrities acknowledged the visit:
Now that’s what I’m talking about!
Commented former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre.
As an El Pasoan with family in the military, it is indeed a heartwarming sentiment to see Aikman supporting our troops!
