Ok, so I am guilty of eating my steak with….Ketchup. PLEASE DON’T CANCEL ME! But look, it’s because I’m very picky with my steak and if it’s not juicy then I have to add flavor to it, and sometimes that flavor is ketchup.

Ok, now that we’re over that breaking news story let me tell you about a little steakhouse restaurant that I recently visited, and to my surprise, I didn’t need ketchup for my steak AT ALL!

If you’ve driven to the Outlet Shoppes at El Paso in Canutillo then you may have seen the billboards promoting Victoria’s Mexican Grill.

I was curious as to what this restaurant served so I did some investigating and when I did my investigation I was pleasantly surprised at what I saw: Pictures of DELICIOUS steaks and DOZENS of positive reviews so, being the curious woman that I am, I just had to try it out for myself.

Victoria’s Mexican Grill Steakhouse is located in Canutillo, Texas with an address that may attract many... tree lovers? 420 Talbot Ave. Get it… 4/20.

Ok anyways, you walk into the restaurant and you're instantly hit with mom-and-pop vibes. You feel like you’re at grandma’s house with the decor that includes a shrine to the Dallas Cowboys.

The menu includes items that range from Steaks, seafood, fajitas, enchiladas, and more, but the go-to entree has to be their Arrachera steak.

Absolutely no sauce (or ketchup) was needed for this steak because the flavor was just oozing out of the steak when I cut through it. The entree was served with a loaded baked potato, shrimp skewer, salad, and a grilled jalapeño that definitely had a kick to it!

Apparently, I wasn’t alone when it came to my love for their  Arracherra steak:

Aside from the amazing food, the service was amazing. Our soft-spoken waiter made sure that we were taken care of from start to end.

Growing up, I always knew that it was the small hole-in-the-wall restaurants that had the best food and that was the case with my visit to Victoria’s Mexican Grill.

Supporting local businesses is key, especially during these tough times for businesses so it’s great seeing the great reviews from locals who want this small local restaurant to thrive!
