El Paso, TX is home to a thriving vintage scene, where music lovers and fashion enthusiasts can hunt for hidden gems. 

This past weekend, my boyfriend and I spent the afternoon walking around downtown El Paso and we stumbled upon a new vintage clothing store that was full of a lot of surprises! The store in question: Rasputin’s Curiosities, Vintage & More

The name of the store is exactly what you get when you walk into it! It’s only been around for a few months but it is already full of so many cool vintage items and we even found their vinyl record collection where record lovers can search for some throwback vinyls.

The store’s owner, Herman, is from Fresno California but calls El Paso, TX home now after making his way here through his past job in the Border Patrol.

Herman always had a passion for vintage shopping so he decided to turn that passion into a full-time gig and he bought a spot right in the heart of Downtown El Paso for locals to enjoy!

After this stop, we made our way to another local record shop, Atomic Wax. This record shop sits on Texas street inside a small shopping center.

It’s a more well known vinyl record shop but I had never been, even though I’ve passed the location several times!

This got me wondering: What other local vintage and vinyl shops am I missing out on?! I decided to ask the people of El Paso for their recommendations and they did not disappoint!

Sound Decay Records

This shop is all about the underground scene. If you’re into punk, metal, and obscure vinyl releases, Sound Decay Records is where you’ll find the real gems.

Atomic Wax

A vinyl lover’s paradise, Atomic Wax specializes in vintage records, offering everything from classic rock to hip-hop. Their collection is always changing, so every visit feels like a new adventure.
