The Top Ten Halloween Costumes of 2017

An all time favorite of mine, the mermaid is making a comeback. The unicorn is overshadowed by the mermaid in the U.K., while the US is still struggle over their favorite mythical creature.

As I just pointed out, the US still sees the unicorn as the fav. I blame the Unicorn Frappacino or the easiness of just buying the mask. No need to find a clam bra if you choose the unicorn, which is really hard. I tried last year, no luck. I only found a coconut bra. Totally sad.

Let's take it back to the free love era. Hippies are a go-to costume every year, in my opinion. Flower crowns and a peace sign can go a long way.

If you are brave enough to head to a Halloween party in a tight red one-piece suit, more power to you. I like to much out on Halloween goodies, so no way that's happening for me. The popularity of the classic costume is all thanks to the reboot of the classic tv series Baywatch, but in a movie form with Zac Efron and Dwayne Johnson.

I've heard it's a great show, but I haven't seen a single episode. I do like the idea to dress up with a dragon on my shoulder though.

The Woman of the Year is a for sure costume this year! Last year, Harley Quinn ruled the realm of DC characters, but it's Wonder Woman's time. I bet more little girls will be rocking these outfits, which makes me incredibly happy.

This one is a shocker to me. Sure, Giraffes are cute but why? Unless someone is extremely tall, I am going to think you are the Toys R Us Geoffrey the Giraffe, looking for revenge over the store's bankruptcy.

Going as a Disney Princess is always a hit for people. What's not to love about a fluffy dress, especially when a hit movie was just released about one? Princess Belle is this year's top princess. You can easily have a friend dress up as the beast too, thanks to all the big mascot heads they have made of him.

The hit Netflix series is coming back this October, so it's probably a good idea to get ahead of the game. The kid gang already is taking over certain Halloween stores with their own section of costumes. There is even a Eggo Waffle purse, which I think is amazing all year long.

Shocker right? Of course not. Pennywise, the dancing clown from IT is terrifying. Halloween wouldn't be complete if you didn't catch someone running around in a clown costume. The only problem is probably purchasing an official costume because they will probably sell out in stores.
