I'm a sucker for a puppy story, so get the tissues ready because this one will make you cry before it gets better! Ashley Yanez of Houston decided to take her 9 week old puppy Blu to PetSmart's "Barkarita Fiesta." To her surprise, they were denied entry because "PetSmart doesn't allow bully breeds." She then posted it on Twitter and it caught like wildfire on there!

LOOK. AT. HER. CUTE. LITTLE. HAT!! How dare they deny entry to this cutie patootie! The tweet sparked outrage not only among Pit Bull owners but just any pet lover, it even spawned the hashtag #F***Petsmart. Lot's of people responded with pictures of their own Bull breeds and offered play dates for Blu. Enter Petco. Days after the Tweet was posted Petco reached out to Ashley and totally shaded PetSmart by not only allowing Blu into their store and sending her a care package, they Tweeted it out to their millions of followers

The shade is real! PetSmart tried to undo some of the damage by replying to Ashley saying sorry for the confusion and that they'd be sending her a "party package" to make up for it to which Ashley said "Thanks, but no thanks."

Here's where it gets tricky to me. PetSmart does indeed have a policy against "bully breeds" for their Day Camp & Group Playtime and says quote: "American Pit Bull Terriers, Miniature Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, American Bull Dogs, Bull Terriers or mixed breeds that have the appearance or characteristics of one of these breeds. At the discretion of PetSmart, some pets may not be permitted." BUT! At the beginning of the policy it says: "Campers must be at least 4 months of age." Ashley admitted to Buzzfeed that Blu is only 9 weeks old. Is it possible that she misconstrued the situation, or did that just add on to the situation? We'll never know, either way it's great that she's found a great place to take Blu where she and Blu feel comfortable and accepted.
