Thanksgiving may be all about the turkey, but let’s be real—the holiday feast doesn’t end until you’ve had dessert. (Well, that’s if you even have enough room for dessert.)
From coast to coast, Americans are united on one thing: pie is the sweet finale of choice. But the real question still remains: What type of pie is the BEST?!
Online Casino recently broke down the numbers to give people the answers they want and deserve and here’s a breakdown of the top Thanksgiving desserts by state.
It’s no surprise that Pumpkin Pie is the undisputed champion of Thanksgiving desserts, taking the crown in 38 states. Whether it’s topped with whipped cream or served on its own, this cozy classic brings a taste of fall to the table with every bite.
Meanwhile, folks up north keep it traditional with Apple Pie, the second most popular choice, beloved in seven states. I guess I need to move up north because I LOVE some Apple Pie, especially with vanilla bean ice cream on top!
And then, there’s Texas- The step-child when it comes to favorite pie:
In true Lone Star fashion, Texans stand apart, crowning Pecan Pie as their Thanksgiving favorite. Along with four other states, they just can’t resist that nutty, caramel goodness that screams Southern comfort.
