Sweeney Todd Comes to Las Cruces’ Black Box Theatre

No Strings Theatre Company presents Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street!

The popular play will be playing from Friday, Oct. 9 through Sunday, Oct. 25th at the Black Box Theatre. The theatre is located at 430 N Downtown Mall in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Direction is by Nora Thomas who also directed the successful production of Into The Woods at the Black Box Theatre in 2014.

The local cast includes Rafael Medina as Sweeney Todd, Diane Thomas as Mrs. Lovett, Shaun Hadfield as Judge Turpin, Carol Ayon as Beggar Woman, Chris Hornung as Toby, Cameron Lang as Beadle Bamford, Mario Ragazzone as Anthony, and Jamie Smith as Johanna. The chorus members are Xodia Choate, Daniel De La Rosa, Vanessa Dabovich, Layla Jackson, Chris Sedillo, Joseluis Solorzano, and Autry Sutcliff.

Performances are at 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, 2:30 p.m. on Sundays, October 18 and 25, and a Thursday evening performance on October 22 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $12 general admission, $10 for students and seniors over 65 and all seats on Thursday are $8.
