Swan Lake Heading to the Plaza Theatre

The timeless classic production of Swan Lake is making a stop in El Paso in October.

The Russian Theatre Ballet will be bringing their latest production of the ever-popular ballet Swan Lake by composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.

The latest touring production of Swan Lake is beautifully choreographed by Nadezhda Kalinina (Mariinsky Theatre, Omsk State Music Theatre, Teatro Lirico) giving the favored classic her own personal touch and new hand-sewn costumes and sets.

The Swan Lake ballet was inspired by old folklore German and Russian tales and tells the story of Odette, a princess who is turned into a swan by a curse spun by an evil sorcerer.
