The love for Stephanie Hann in the borderland continues to grow as she continues to prove just how tough she is, and now she will prove that live on ESPN and she will be joined once again by Krystall Poppin!

And I’ll be honest, every time Krystall Poppin’s name comes up online, the keyboard warriors roll into the comments asking, “Who is she?” or “Why do we care?” 

Well… for someone people claim not to know, Krystall Poppin sure keeps finding herself on major stages, getting recognized by the City of El Paso, performing on national television, and collaborating with world champions while some of ya’ll are still on Facebook with car profile pics because hiding behind a keyboard is easy, but showing up for your city is the part not everyone can handle! Stephanie Han & Krystall Poppin Team Up Live on ESPN

We’re only a few months into the year, and once again El Paso’s Stephanie Han and Krystall Poppin are making national headlines together, this time live on ESPN. 

This Saturday, May 30th, Krystall Poppin and undefeated WBA Lightweight World Champion Stephanie Han will once again join forces as Han prepares to face legendary fighter Holly Holm in Han vs. Holm 2 in El Paso. The highly anticipated fight will air live on ESPN as part of MVP 03, putting the Sun City in front of a nationwide audience.

Stephanie Han will be entering the fight with a perfect 12-0 record while defending her WBA Lightweight World Championship against Holm, one of the biggest names in combat sports history.

But beyond the championship belts and bright lights, Han has become a source of pride throughout El Paso. She serves as an El Paso police officer, wife, mother, mental health advocate, and role model all while balancing public service, family life, and a professional boxing career while continuing to inspire women across the Borderland.

The Dynamic Duo Is Back Again

Fans may remember the duo’s unforgettable moment earlier this year when Krystall Poppin personally wrote and performed Han’s walkout song during Han’s championship victory over Holly Holm in Puerto Rico.

The entrance brought together a blend of El Paso music, boxing, and female empowerment into one powerful performance.

Now, they’re running it back, only bigger! Krystall recently shared on Facebook that she is “beyond grateful” to officially confirm she’ll be performing live on national television on ESPN while walking Han out to the ring in El Paso.

She’ll once again perform “The Moment,” the song created specifically for Han’s entrance, as the hometown champion steps into one of the biggest fights of her career.

Whether critics understand the hype or not, both Stephanie Han and Krystall Poppin continue proving that El Paso talent belongs on the national stage and they’re bringing the city with them every step of the way.
