SNOWMAGEDDON! A Quick Update

The sun has come up!  There is life after Snowmageddon!  Here is a quick update on schools, traffic, and other services affected by the cold weather...

ROAD CONDITIONS

:

I-10 from the Texas stateline to the Arizona stateline is closed.

Scenic Drive is closed.

Transmountain Road is closed.

The Anthony Gap/NM-404 is closed.

Highway 70 is closed.

I-25 is closed from Las Cruces to Belen.

El Paso International Airport is on a normal schedule, no delays or cancellations have been reported, officials encouraging passengers check with their airlines.

El Paso County Courthouse will open at 10 a.m.

Fort Bliss and White Sands Missile Range will open at 10 a.m.

Holloman Air Force Base, key and essential personnel are to report at normal duty time. All other Holloman AFB employees are to report at 10 a.m.

Non-essential employees at Beaumont Army Medical Center can report at 10 a.m.

The University of Texas at El Paso

10 a.m. Final exams scheduled during the closed time frame will be rescheduled to next Monday at the same time.
El Paso Community College

is on a two hr delayed start. If you had a final exam scheduled today and it was cancelled the exam will be held on Friday at the same time.

 
NMSU

is on a two hour delay.
Dona Ana Community College

is on a 2 hour delay.
CLOSED

: All Las Cruces Public Schools are closed today.
