Scorpions & Whitesnake Head To El Paso In Concert This Fall
Two iconic bands of the 80s, Scorpions, and Whitesnake team up for a US tour and will be making a concert stop in El Paso this fall.
The Scorpions and Whitesnake are bringing their "Rock Believer World" co-heading tour to the Don Haskins Center.
It's been a hot minute since either the Scorpions or Whitesnake performed in El Paso. While it isn't the first time either band has rocked the Sun City, I believe the last appearance by the Scorpions was in 2016 at The Don with Deep Purple, and the year before, Whitesnake performed at Speaking Rock.
If you've never seen them live, both bands are phenomenal. The last time I saw Whitesnake was circa 1990, during their Liquor & Poker World Tour in support of their Slip of The Tongue album, which featured guitar virtuoso Steve Vai, who had replaced Adrian Vandenberg after an injury that required surgery.
To this day, that concert is on my top 10 list of most epic shows ever! Getting to see and hear David Coverdale and Steve Via on stage was impressive, but so was John Waite of Bad English, who opened the show on May 6, 1990.
Now fans of the Scorpions and Whitesnake will get a chance to see both iconic groups perform on the same stage during their co-headlining "Rock Believer World Tour" this fall at the Don Haskins Center. This tour will also be Whitesnake's farewell tour, so if they are on your concert bucket list, you might want to score your tickets as soon as they go on sale.
