The El Paso Museum of Art will be hosting Susan Goodman, Senior Curator Emeritus of New York’s Jewish Museum for a free lecture on artist, Marc Chagall at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015, at the El Paso Musem of Art’s El Paso Energy Auditorium.

Goodman, who has spent much of her professional life studying the art of Marc Chagall, including her most recent, Chagall: Love, War, and Exile. She will share her insights on the wide-ranging geographical and artistic travels of this imaginative and colorful artist. She will also explore the context in which The Green Violinist was created. The Green Violinist is on loan to the El Paso Museum of Art from the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum now through Jan. 29, 2015.

The program is free and open to the public. However, space in the El Paso Energy Auditorium is limited to 220 people therefore guests are encouraged to arrive early. A book signing in the Museum Store will also follow the lecture.
