Put In Your Application For The El Paso Firefighter Training Academy

The El Paso Fire Department is currently accepting applications for Certified Firefighter Trainees.

You'll need:

1. 24 post-secondary semester credit hours in any field of study with a minimum of 2.0 GPA, or
2. Two years full-time, active military service with an honorable discharge and a High School diploma or GED, and
3. Current Texas State Commission on Fire Protection Basic Structural Firefighter Certification (TCFP-Basic FF) and Texas Department of State Health Services Basic Emergency Medical Technician Certification (DSHS-EMT-B).

Applications will be taken until May 29, but you should get your application in as soon as possible. If a pre-set number of qualified applications have been received, the application process might close.
