Northfest Brings Bavarian Traditions To El Paso's Food Truck Scene

If you have never been to the North East El Paso Food Truck Collective, or NEEP, then you are missing out on a solid patio bar surrounded by El Paso food trucks. The good news? If youve never been, then the first time you go gets to be for one of NEEPs biggest celebrations! Northfest is back for 2 glorious days of German beer drinking with a Sun City twist! Oh, and come dressed for the fest. Lederhosen and Dirndl are highly encouraged to really build the Bavarian charm!

Northfest is NEEP Collectives very own version of Oktoberfest complete with Lederhosen, beer boots, and even big juicy German brats!! Seriously though, Northfest goes all out with everything that makes an Oktoberfest celebration so damn exciting. Not just the wide selection of brews from the beer garden but also a great selection of Oktoberfest games and events to keep the festivities exciting all weekend long.

Get your outfits ready but also start hitting the curls and shoulder workouts because it ain't Northfest without your traditional German beer games like the classic Stein Hoist, some Hammerschlagen, or even the Fliegerlied dance! What are all these things, you ask?? Well you're just gonna have to show up at Northfest and find out with a big stein of beer in your hand!!

And hey, if you wanna come and have a whole weekend of beer drinkin, German style, but you wanna make sure you're staying healthy and responsible too, well guess what?

Northfest kicks things off early Saturday, October 3rd at 1pm with the free Oktoberfest 5K! Then buy your ticket for Northfest and keep your runner registration on ya because every participant in the 5K that is 21 and over gets a complimentary post-run beer!

Northfest goes on for 2 whole days of German beer drinking festivities and has a whole market, plenty of on theme grub from German Bites, and a wide selection of German beers for the Oktoberfest enthusiasts!

Taste of El Paso Year 2 Wing Competition

Taste of El Paso Year 2 was huge and at the heart of it all was the Wing Competition! A panel of Guest Judges including Grizz, Isabella Martinez of KVIA, Miss Earth Gia Soleil Espinoza, Evan George Vourazeris from the hit show Ozark, AJ of El Pasos BS Podcast, and a surprise judge pulled from the crowd all crowned The Wing Wiz food truck this years champion!

Wing Wiz won the inaugural Wing Belt! A pro wrestling style trophy belt that Wing Wiz will have to bring back next year to defend against a new group of wing contenders!
