New Mexico Man Arrested After Biting Off Healthcare Worker’s Ear

This story is so bizarre, it's unreal. Looks like we have another Mike Tyson on our hands -- no wait, that's just a 35-year-old Albuquerque man.

Officers were called out to UNM Health Care where they say 35-year-old Shantay Brown was upset with workers after he found out he was about to be discharged. He wasn’t happy with that and decided to start an altercation.

Brown began to be combative and tried hitting the healthcare worker. Police then say when a team of hospital employees attempted to restrain Brown, he punched a nurse in the face and bit a medical tech’s ear completely off.

He has been charged with three counts of aggravated assault on a health care worker. No court date has been set for Brown.
