Food insecurity is something a lot of college students navigate quietly, and if that sounds familiar, this one is for you.

El Paso Community College has partnered with El Pasoans Fighting Hunger to bring a Mobile Food Pantry to EPCC campuses across the city through the end of November 2026. The program, formerly called the Grocery Pickup, is organized by EPCC's Student Government Association and Campus Life and is open to Texas residents while supplies last.

Dates rotate across five campuses on a monthly Tuesday schedule, with most distributions running from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Drive-thru pickup is available at Valle Verde and Transmountain campuses. Bring your own bag, wagon, or whatever you have to carry supplies home.

Nobody Should Have to Choose Between Food and an Education

I used to receive services from a food pantry at the University of Nebraska Omaha during a tough stretch of my own life, and I can tell you firsthand that these programs matter more than people realize. There is no shame in showing up. Pass this along to any student, family member, or neighbor who could use a hand this summer.
