Mike’s the Stupid News: Man Goes to Jail after Fighting with Woman about Casey Anthony Verdict

Robert Hakimoglu of Melbourne Beach, Florida and a woman he’d just met were having a spirited discussion over the Casey Anthony verdict Saturday night. Bottom line, he was happy she was found not guilty, the woman not so much.

According to the police report, quote, "He agreed with the [jury's] decision and said anybody who didn't agree with it is not an American. And he said he would like to meet [Anthony] and maybe have kids with her."

That infuriated the woman, and the argument soon turned physical with Robert allegedly striking her in the face.

Cops were called, but by the time they got there Robert had already bounced. They found a couple of hours later, though, sleeping in his bedroom at his parents' house. He was charged with battery and resisting arrest without violence. Well, at least SOMEONE'S going to do time over the Casey Anthony thing.
