Bad Bunny, the Puerto Rican reggaeton sensation who is scheduled to have a show on Friday but a Mexican family who bought tickets say they won't be there even though they have three tickets to the show. Oh, it's not because they don't want to go check out the show at the Don Haskins Center, it's because they are about ten thousand dollars in debt because of the tickets they bought to the show. Yes, you read that right, ten thousand dollars in debt over three tickets to the Bad Bunny show. Check out this FitFam post:
I did a little digging and this website says that a girl in Mexico bought VIP tickets to the show and thought that the price she was paying was in pesos. She thought that the VIP tickets were 3,500 pesos. Turns out, that price was in American dollars. The price in pesos for each ticket was 72,000 for a grand total of 216 thousand pesos. Needless to say, the girl's dad's credit card took a heck of a hit. And instead of going to check out the concert, the tickets are up for grabs.
The dad has decided to raffle the tickets to try and pay off the massive debt his daughter ran up buying the tickets in the first place. Considering the show is tomorrow, it's not clear how much money they will be able to raise, but hopefully the next time this father hands over his credit card to someone he will check the fine print before anyone decides to hit 'buy now'.
