Mariah Carey Sends Fans Update on Nick Cannon’s Condition
As Nick Cannon continues to recover from mild kidney failure, Mariah Carey is passing along good news about her husband’s progress. “Nick is in stable condition with a good prognosis, hopefully he’ll be discharged within 2 days,” she tweeted today. “As always he’s laughing and in good spirits.”
The ‘America’s Got Talent’ host was taken to a hospital in Colorado when he became ill during a family holiday vacation in Aspen. Cannon himself provided fans with an update earlier this week when he tweeted, “Currently being transfered [sic] to a hospital in LA. Thank you all for all your love, prayers and concern. You know me… I will be a’ight.”
Today, Cannon also tweeted after undergoing an operation. Judging from what he wrote, the procedure sounded pretty awful. “Just left the operating table and I was awake during the whole procedure. #OUCH,” Cannon wrote. Can you even imagine how terrible that must be? You’re a trooper, Nick!
Earlier this week, Carey wrote on her blog, “This is us in the hospital – role reversal; Last year it was me attached to the machines (after having dembabies) and Nick was there with me through it, and now here we are.” She also posted a photo of her with Cannon in bed in the hospital.
The news from Carey sounds encouraging, and the fact that Cannon is still tweeting is also a positive. Let’s hope Cannon continues to make strides and fulfills Carey’s wish for a complete recovery.
