Leslie Jones Chats With Seth Meyers About Oprah Presidency

Leslie Jones was a guest on Late Night with Seth Meyers to announce her love and support in regard to rumors concerning Oprah Winfrey running for President of The United States in 2020. Jones talks about staring at a picture of Oprah in her dressing room and embodyng her essence before portraying Winfrey on a skit for Saturday Night Live. Leslie Jones says “She has to run because I’ll get an Emmy for it! I will play her to death” suggesting that the comedian’s portrayal is worthy of being seen time and time again. Jones screams “GO FOR IT, OPRAH. I WILL VOTE FOR YOU NOW.” In the interview Leslie comments on her warming up to her cover photo of New York Magazine and most importantly name-drops The Queen of Tejano music, Selena while confessing her love for Jennifer Lopez! Seth and Leslie chat about people that Jones is nervous about since she doesn’t feel nerves around celebrities. Leslie says that when she finally gets to see Jennifer Lopez’s stage show in Las Vegas that she’s going to change as many times and Lopez changes during her show.
