Remember the scene in 'Ghost' when Demi Moore was making a pot and Patrick Swayze came up behind her and they got all messy and sexy? Well, that probably won't happen at the ceramics classes at the El Paso Museum of Art, but you will learn how to make ceramics.

The museum is offering classes for beginners to learn hand-building, wheel throwing, and sculpture techniques. You will also learn basic glazing applications. If you are a more experienced potter, you can learn new techniques, refine your current skills, and develop a personal style. You will be given additional time to explore advanced glazing applications.

Tuition covers all materials and supplies, including 25 pounds of clay.

Museum members will be charged $75, non-members will be charged $95. Register online at legacy.elpasotexas.gov/art/classes.asp or by calling 915-212-3061.
