Now that school will be out for the summer, kids up to the age of 18 can ride Sun Metro free thanks to their Youth Summer Ride Program.

Sun Metro has teamed up the United Way of El Paso along with El Paso Center for Children, El Paso Public Library and many other non-profit agencies to allow kids and teens to ride Sun Metro for free this summer with their Youth Summer Ride Program.

Kids who are ages 6-18 and are enrolled in local summer programs can qualify for a pass. Sun Metro currently allows children 5 and younger to ride for free and will also provide a free adult pass to children who are under the age of 12 so they are not riding the bus unattended.

If your child is currently part of the following non-profit organizations then you qualify for a free summer pass (must call organization to apply for a pass):
