Khalid Makes Billboard’s Top Artists Of The 2010s

Congratulations to Khalid for making Billboard’s Top Artists of the 2010s coming in at number 33.

It’s been quite a journey for our friend Khalid who made his commercial debut in 2016 with his hit single Location, three months after graduating from America’s High School.

Khalid's single, Location became a Top 20 pop hit just after the release of American Teen (2017), making his album one of the biggest debuts of the late 2010s. Within a year, Khalid went from a normal teenager to a chart-topping, platinum-certified global superstar garnering Grammy nominations for his album and being featured on Logic's "1-800-237-8255," which also included Alessia Cara.

Khalid continued his focus making music and collaborating with Normani, Benny Blanco, Halsey, Calvin Harris to name but a few, all the while recording and releasing his second studio album, Free Spirit in 2019.
