Khalid Becomes Youngest Artist to Surpass 15 Billion Streams on Spotify

Congratulations to Khalid as he's named the youngest artist to surpass 15 billion streams on Spotify.

Khalid, El Paso’s biggest ambassador took to Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram to share his appreciation to his fans by posting:

“15 Billion!!!

I can’t thank you guys enough for all the love you guys give me! let’s go!”

This isn’t the first time Khalid has received such a distinct honor – Last year according to Spotify, he was the most listened to musician via the streaming platform with over 50 million listeners monthly and before that Khalid made Billboard’s Top Artists of the 2010s coming in at number 33.

The 6-time Grammy nominee just celebrated the one-year anniversary of his second studio album Free Spirit and his latest song release has him collaborating with electro-duo Disclosure in Know Your Worth.

As with many artists Khalid too had to cancel and postpone concerts in Asia this year due to the coronavirus and at the moment is quarantined in his home in Los Angeles.
