Khalid A Night For Suncity Photos And Concert Details

Khalid’s A Night For Suncity sold-out benefit concert was full of love, and special guests on Sunday, September 1^st the Don Haskins Center.

Khalid returned to his hometown of El Paso putting on a special benefit concert and raising money for the victims and their families of the tragic mass shooting on August 3rd. A Night for Suncity was presented by The Great Khalid Foundation and Right Hand Foundation. The event raised $500,000 from ticket sales and merchandise to aid the fundraising efforts of the El Paso Community Foundation Shooting Victims’ Fund.

The night opened up with The Swell Kids followed by actor Matthew McConaughey who surprised the audience by walking on stage and spoke on the need to come together as Texans and as one big family. Beto O’Rourke then took the stage thanking Khalid for bringing our community together before introducing him on stage.

Throughout the night Khalid had special guests join his performance including Rae Sremmurd, Lil Yachty, SZA and more.

Khalid was all smiles and looked so happy to be able to come home and share a moment of togetherness for us all in El Paso.
