Join UTEP Choirs in Concert

Get READY El Paso for the first ever UTEP Choirs concert for fall 2016 semester, featuring Brian Downen (tenor) and works from Byrd, Haydn, Rutter, Lauridsen and more!

Highly regarded for his performances of the bel canto operatic repertoire, Brian Downen has sung leading roles in more than 50 productions for opera houses in the U.S., Europe and Canada.  Mr. Downen has  sung numerous productions of  Rossini’s L’Italiana in Algeri, La Cenerentola and Il Barbiere di Siviglia as well as Mozart’s Don Giovanni, Die Entführung aus dem Serail and Die Zauberflöte for Dayton Opera, Knoxville Opera, Cleveland Opera,Columbus Opera, Mobile Opera, Anchorage Opera, Opera Omaha and for the Caramoor Festival.

$5 Adults, $3 Students/Military, FREE for UTEP faculty, students and staff at the UTEP Fox FIne Arts Recital Hall, Monday, October the 3rd at 7:30 p.m.
