Join the Fun at Old Sheepdog Brewery's Blue Party for Blue Beetle

Superhero fans get ready for the ultimate Blue party bash! The DC universe is about to get a splash of culture as the long-awaited movie featuring the first-ever Latino superhero, Blue Beetle, hits the big screen and local businesses are already celebrating the film and you’re invited to join the celebration at Old Sheepdog Brewery!

The local brewery is throwing the ultimate Blue Party to commemorate the release of Blue Beetle, a film in which Old Sheepdog Brewery makes an appearance in as well.

Saturday, August 12th, the brewery will be hosting a “Blue Party” which will feature local art vendors showcasing their talent, cosplayers dressed as your favorite heroes, and giveaways that'll make you feel like you've got superpowers of your own.

Guests will also be able to enjoy the latest beer release from the brewery, a blue corn lager. Local artists were tasked with creating a special design for this beer and the winner of this label design contest will be announced the day of the Blue Party.

“The winners of the contest will be able to pick the name of the beer and have the opportunity to design the label as well. The director of the movie Angel Manuel Soto will be choosing the winning design,” Said Old Sheepdog Brewery Officials.

The Old Sheepdog team had the chance to meet the director back when they were doing cultural research and development in El Paso for the film.

“This Saturday’s Blue Party is a way to celebrate the premiere of the Blue Beetle movie, and also a way for us to celebrate that we are coming out in the film as well. Old Sheepdog brewery will be part of the DC world,” said Old Sheepdog Officials.
