The Man Who’s Been Ruining Your Favorite Songs is a Texan
We know the Texas is full of incredibly talented and extremely creative musicians. One music channel that has been getting a lot of attention online is one called “There I Ruined It”; a channel where they take one, or multiple songs and… Well ruin it (according to some people at least). It turns out the guy who has been running the channel, is from Texas.
Who created the There I Ruined It channel?
Dustin Ballard is graduate from the university of Texas at Austin; he has worked with several companies such as Chick-Fil-A, Dr. Pepper, Fiat and as its posted on his official website, yes… There I Ruined It. He's also the fiddle player for the Dallas band Shoot Low Sheriff.
Here are some popular videos from There I Ruined It
Two big celebrities that have actually reacted to TIRI include Snoop Dogg. Watching his reaction of his song “Gin & Juice” combined with The Bare Necessities it’s just priceless. He looks like he doesn’t know if he loves it or hates it.
Ed Sheeran on the other hand, he just straight up thought watching his song “Shape of You” being combined with the underwater theme from Super Mario Bros was “strange”.
There are several other videos that are definitely worth a watch including the videos of what Pearl Jam & Red Hot Chili Peppers sound like two people who don’t like them, the Kids edition of Drowning Pool's "Bodies" & the “YEAH” song.
Whether you’re a fan of these mashup or not, one thing you have to admit, Dustin is quite creative, taking all these songs and combining them into some… mad scientist-esque creations. And for that, we look forward to seeing more of these weird videos.
Ultimate Classic Rock even did an interview with Dustin and he wanted to great detail on the creation of these videos.
