
Texas And New Mexico Singers To Watch On NBC’s The Voice Season 26
The blind auditions are finished for Season 26 of NBC's The Voice & there are several names that representing the states of Texas & New Mexico that made it onto the show. If you missed them, here are some of the names to watch out for during Season 26.
Episode 1 saw three Texas contestants get picked on The Voice
Even though Danny Joseph was born in London, he currently lives in Dallas, Texas. He wowed all 4 judges after his performance of "I Put a Spell On You" by Screaming Jay Hawkins. Ultimately, he chose Team Reba.
The next contestant from Texas to get pick was Torre Blake from Austin, Texas. Torre would perform Erykah Badi's "On & On". She would chose Team Snoop.
Kendell Eugene was our final Texas name from Episode 1. He was born in Fort Worth, Texas but currently lives in Indiana, Pennsylvania. He chose Team Reba after he sung "Don't Think Jesus" by Morgan Wallen.
Episode 2 saw our first New Mexico contestant & another Texas contestant get picked on The Voice
17 year old Kamile Kiehne is from Los Luna, New Mexico. She became a part of Team Michael after singing "Black Velvet" by Alannah Myles.
Rowdy Shea was originally from Bowling Green, Kentucky but mentioned on the show that he lives in Newcastle, Texas. He chose Team Gwen after he sung Toby Keith's "You Shouldn't Kiss Me Like This".
Episode 3 saw another Texas contestant get picked for The Voice
21 year old Georgia Starnes was born in Dallas, Texas & she wow Bublé, Reba, Gwen & Snoop after her performance of "Too Good At Goodbyes" by Sam Smith. Ultimately, Georgia picked Team Snoop.
Episode 4 saw 1 more Texas contestant get picked for The Voice
Michael Alexandersson from Saledo, Texas officially became a part of the show after his performance of Dean Martin's "Ain't That a Kick In the Head". Michael became part of Team Snoop.
Episode 5 saw one Texas singer get chosen right at the last second
The 17 year old from Dallas, Eliza Pryor, impressed Snoop Dogg enough that he turned his chair at the last second. Eliza performed "Linger" by The Cranberries to officially be part of Team Snoop.
Episode 6 saw our final Texas singer make season 26 of The Voice
Suede Lacy from Dallas, Texas was the final singer of the Blind Auditions and he was picked to be on Team Snoop after his performance of Childish Gambino's "Redbone".
Here are some Texas contestants that didn't get picked
- RAVS from Dallas, Texas was actually the first contestant to represent Texas on Season 26. She performed Doja Cat's "Say So".
- Kourtney White from McKinney, Texas appeared on Episode 4 of the Blind Auditions. She performed Adele's "Remedy".
