- The Sky Vue Drive-In in Lamesa, TX was closed in 2015 after a fire destroyed the giant movie screen.
- The Midway Drive-In in Turkey, TX opened in 1955 and closed in 1987. It reopened in 2000 and lasted another 5 years. It reopened AGAIN in 2006 and closed one more time in 2014.
- Alice's Buckhorn Drive-In off of Route 44 was opened in 1948 and closed in 1986. These places are just some that are no longer around.
