Why can't El Paso have something like this?!

I'm officially becoming jealous of San Antonio. First, I find out that they have a Big Red and barbacoa festival- which will be celebrating its eleventh year! And now, I find out this!

San Antonio's First Pizza Festival

If pizza is your love language, then you'll want to head over to the Alamo City on October 13 for the first ever San Antonio Pizza Festival to be held at Alamo Biscuit Co. located at 9630 Huebner Rd #103.

On October 13, from 6PM to 11 PM, you and every other pizza loving foodie, will gather for the biggest pizza party that will include only the best of the best local pizza restaurants, other food trucks, live music and of course, a pizza eating contest!

The family friendly event will also feature a special appearance by four of the biggest pizza lovers I know, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

I feel like it really wouldn't be a pizza party without Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo!

Tickets for the event can be purchased here. General admission is $25 plus service fees. VIP will cost you $55 and service fees. According to the Pizza Festival page, every ticket holder will get one free pizza bite to taste and then purchase pizza slices at any vendor.

San Antonio certainly seems like it's the perfect place for foodies; but I'm pretty sure if El Paso held an event like a pizza festival, it would be a great hit! This is me hinting at anyone to create a pizza festival in El Paso!
