Ozzy Was An Alamogordo Chamber Of Commerce Member?

New Mexico has a lot to offer but it was little old Alamogordo that won the hearts of Ozzy Osbourne and his family in 2018.

Ozzy had quite a history with the land of enchantment, not only performing on stage for huge crowds in Albuquerque but also on film with one of his tv series'.

Ozzy and his son Jack filmed 2 episodes of their A & E tv show, "Ozzy And Jack's World Detour" in NM and one of them really made an impact.

Ozzy and family first got into TV with "The Osbournes" on MTV. The show chronicled day to day life with the "Prince Of Darkness" and his family, offering a, (not always intentionally), funny, F bomb laden glimpse into their lives.

Later, they landed a gig on A & E as Ozzy and his son Jack traveled the world looking for cool stuff in "Ozzy And Jack's World Detour".

What Brought Them To New Mexico?

In 2016, they went UFO hunting in Roswell. On top of the famous Roswell UFO crash site, they also stopped by the the Petroglyphs National Monument and hit up the UFO Museum. Watch that episode here.

2 years later, they visited Alamogordo, about 75 miles from northeast El Paso, and fell in love with the town. When their travels took them to a ranch owned by GB Oliver who was then the Alamogordo Chamber of Commerce leader.

Ozzy, Jack and Ozzy's daughter Kelly ... who was along for the ride this time ... were so "enchanted" by Alamogordo, Ozzy applied to join the Chamber of Commerce. Needless to say, he was accepted.
