Hollywood Celebrities Spotted Enjoying El Paso Chihuahuas Game
El Paso, Texas has recently caught the attention of Hollywood celebrities this year; we recently saw some A-list stars film a movie in Downtown El Paso during the summer. Some celebrities stuck around however & was enjoying one of the baseball games during the 4th of July. Turns out they might be fans of the El Paso Chihuahuas baseball team.
Which celebrities were spotted at an El Paso Chihuahuas game?
Local photographer, Ivan Pierre Aguirre, got some incredible photos & videos of a total of 4 Hollywood celebrities all in the press boxes at Southwest University Park, watching the El Paso Chihuahuas take on the Albuquerque Isotopes.
The Oscar nominated producer, Sara Murphy, Colin Anderson (who was the camera operator for the 7th & 9th Star Wars movies), Oscar-nominated director Paul Thomas Anderson & Oscar winner, Benicio Del Toro were all spotted in El Paso.
They all watched the game from inside the stadium & enjoyed the fireworks afterwards. You can see all the videos & images on Ivan's Instagram here.
There was a champion inside the home of the El Paso Chihuahuas too
They weren't the only celebrities spotted at Southwest University Park; the famed hot dog eating champion, Joey Chestnut, was even seen wearing a Chihuahuas baseball jersey before he took one a couple of Fort Bliss soldiers in a hotdog eating competition for charity.
It's unknown if this was the first time ANY of these celebrities has seen (or heard) of the El Paso Chihuahuas; but we certainly are glad they had a great time at the ballgame.
Next time you're at a local sporting event, keep your eyes open! You might just spot a celebrity amongst us in the crowd...
