While these places ARE still open for us to enjoy, there WERE more places that Guy Fieri visited in the past that have sadly closed down since appearing on the show:
- The original Tecolote Café in Santa Fe, New Mexico closed down in 2014 as revealed from this 2019 news story.
- Bert's Burger Bowl in Santa Fe closed down in 2015 after being over for over 60 years.
- The Cube in Albuquerque, New Mexico has been closed for years.
- Santa Fe's Zia Diner closed down in 2016.
- Sophia's Diner in Albuquerque, New Mexico is also closed.
One other place that's worth noting is the Standard Diner in Albuquerque, New Mexico. While the NAME "Standard Diner" is gone, the place IS still around. It's just under a new name: The Range Café. They made this change in 2020 and posted about it on their Facebook page.
