All streaks are meant to be broken, and the "Tom Brady is 6-0 against the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL Playoffs" streak was especially stale considering how the Cowboys began their 2022-2023 NFL Season.

It was Game 1... Dallas QB Dak Prescott left the game with an injury that left Cowboy fans with nightmares. Tom Brady proved once again he was the GOAT with a 19-3 victory and 'several weeks out' was the only timeline for Jerry Jones' franchise quarterback.

Fast Forward to the opening round of the playoffs where Cowboy fans' nightmares turned to dreams come true as Prescott led the team to their first road victory in 30 years with five total touchdowns.

CURSE KILLERS, you say?! Curses, just like streaks, also need to be broken.

The win wasn't without a couple of low points. I'm sorry... FOUR MISSED EXTRA POINTS is what I mean.

Brett Maher, the Dallas Cowboys' kicker, had a good regular season. He was 50-of-53 on extra-point attempts. Now he holds a record not to be proud of.

According to ESPN Stats and Info, Maher became the first player to miss three extra points in a playoff game.

Then he set an NFL record by missing his fourth, early in the third quarter. Woof.

It was 1993 the last time Dallas won a road playoff game. A win against the 49ers.

Next up for the Cowboys is the divisional round in San Francisco. Against the 49ers.

Dak will face Brock Purdy, who is "Mr. Irrelevant" from the 2022 NFL Draft, along with plenty of other "relevant" folks like Christian McCaffrey and Deebo Samuel.

Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have played their last game of the season.

No word if Tom Brady's career is finished, but if history has taught us anything it's that whatever he decides he might almost immediately change his mind. So take that with a grain of salt.

Goodnight and Go Cowboys. If by chance you CAN'T sleep, go ahead and check out the last Bad Blood Rivalry in '93. It's sure to boost some serotonin.
