The Most Popular Beer In Texas, Arizona And New Mexico

Honestly, the most popular beer in each state ... Texas, New Mexico and Arizona ...  surprised me. Texas less than the others.

According to Newsweek, Mexican beers seem to be upsetting the favorite beer "apple cart" here in the states, particularly down south. Only 1 American beer made the overall top 3 this time around.

Here in the United States of America, numbers 1 - 3 are usually Coors Light, Budweiser and Miller Lite. Pero, no mas en 2024.

The Newsweek study says, looking at beer faves nationwide, the current podium has Corona in 1st, Bud Light in 2nd and Modelo in 3rd. Bud Light sales in 2023 saw a big drop following a failed ad campaign opened the door for Modelo to move way ahead as drinkers boycotted Bud Light.

What Is The Number 1 Beer In Texas?

Somehow, Bud Light's back in the national top 3 while the usual contenders, Coors Light and Miller Lite, are MIA. Bud Light was actually #1 in the lone star state despite Texas sales being among those that fell the most during the boycott.

Which Beer Is #1 In New Mexico and Arizona?

The Bud recovery didn't go as well in the other 2 southwest states as Modelo won New Mexico and Arizona. Corona was the big dog in the south while local breweries owned New England, Maine and Massachusetts.
